MADE IN AMERICA (MIA) is owned and operated by Carlos Fuentes.   MIA specializes in stainless steel, bronze, brass and aluminum welding, mold- making, casting and custom finishing.  We provide design development, engineering and drafting to assist our clients in every aspect of the fabrication process from concept to completion.

Carlos Fuentes has been fabricating fine art and luxury products for artists, architects and designers for 25 years. He is a licensed Master Metal Smith educated at Simi Valley Adult School and Career Institute where he earned a B.S. in fine welding. Carlos apprenticed with the renown fine art fabricator, Peter Carlson at Carlson Arts for 13 years where he worked with notable contemporary artists and architects:  Jeff Koons, Amish Kapoor and Ellsworth Kelly.
